“I served two deployments in Iraq, where I was wounded during a combat mission that changed my life forever. Returning home became the beginning of a new battle as I adapted to my injuries while supporting my family through an uncertain future. The Military Order of the Purple Heart of Florida reminded me that I was never alone by providing the support, resources, and community that gave me the strength to move forward and continue serving others.”

Through the Military Order of the Purple Heart of Florida, I found a community that truly understood the sacrifices veterans continue to make long after their service ends. Their compassion, advocacy, and practical assistance helped me regain stability and inspired me to mentor other veterans facing similar struggles.”
